This is so fun to watch. Marching to a steady beat can be way more fun when you add instruments and a LOT of practice.
Steady beat is where it's at! We started with marching and moved on to all different kinds of moves to the steady beat. One class even taught me how to floss and something like a hop and a kick dance. I'm really too old for these, but it was fun. Week 3, we will be continuing with all things steady beat, but adding some instruments! This is so fun to watch. Marching to a steady beat can be way more fun when you add instruments and a LOT of practice.

Welcome Kinder through third grade! I am so excited to be teaching you today. This week we are going to be learning a little bit about rhythm and getting to know each other a little bit better. I found an awesome first days of school lesson using solo cups as instruments, so if you're littles start playing a cup like a drum, you'll know why. Check out this site for the complete lesson we did in class if you would like to try it at home.
